Brymo has announced the release date of his upcoming eBook, Oriri’s Plight. Oriri’s Plight is part of Brymo’s “The Oso Project” which include: an already released album and merchandise.
Oriri’s Plight is due out on the 22nd of September, however, the publishing house under which it would be released is yet to be announced.
The book will be released under the singer’s real names, “Ọlawale Ọlọfọrọ”.
“Oriri’s Plight is a multifaceted work of fiction,” Brymo wrote in an Instagram post revealing the release date of the book.
Brymo first announced the book as an autobiography, but it has since changed in creative direction.
Oriri’s Plight will be the singer’s first ever eBook and it would be based on fictional events of “a young and curious Nubian man of the dark ages”.
Brymo had explained in a Loose Talk interview in March that he was not ripe enough for an autobiography.
This explains why the upcoming book will be based on fictional characters and events.
The new book has backings from the author of The Secret Lives of Baba Segi’s Wives, Lola Shoneyin and Brymo’s mentor, Dr. Suleiman.
Oriri’s Plight would further stretch Brymo’s repute as a complete artist.
