International exposure has become one of the criteria for awarding artists in Nigeria. But Brymo believes it should not be that way.
The singer stated in a recent interview with Planetradio TV that Nigerian artists do not need to be well-received internationally before they are given awards.
He said this issue was one of the areas the industry is failing to address.
“The best Nigerian artists must be Nigerian artist who toured the country the most.”
