Yemi Alade hasn’t relented in releasing music this year, the pop star’s latest single is with popular South African band MI Casa – a song titled ‘Get Through This’.
The Maleek Berry-produced single is centered around love and reassurance. On it, the lead singer of the band J’Something and Yemi face each other and trade sweet lines, like –
Baby don’t you worry about a thing
I can guarantee you one thing…love will hurt if we do it right’
Oh, girl we gon get through this…
The video was directed by Justin Campos and iCandi Cam, who employed a revolving wall to act as a tantalizing barrier between the two pretend lovers. Both J’Something are decked out in African fabric styled by Urban Zulu, a South African brand.
The video is rich and colorful, it’s a coming together of two African cultures but it’s also a coming together of two lovebirds in the month of Cupid. Enjoy below and be sure to share.
