Here’s a new East African – West African collaboration between Ali Kiba and MI. Ali Kiba is a Tanzanian recording artist, singer-songwriter who was signed to Sony Music Entertainment in May last year.
Ali Kiba is a big deal. In 2011, he was voted as “the most popular top-selling artist in East Africa”. He is best known for his hit songs “Aje” “Mwana” and “Chekecha tua”. “Aje”recently got the remix treatment, the remix features Nigerian rapper, M.I Abaga.
This is one of the best remixes we’ve heard this year. The very interesting video was directed by Meji Alabi.
