Wizkid has dropped the video for his wave-making single ”Come Closer” which features Drake. Sadly, Drake wasn’t in the video but Wizkid offered an explanation as to why that happened.

Drake was on tour at the time of the shoot but this takes away nothing from the very artistic video with an African setting. The video was directed by Nigerian-born and UK-based DAPS who is also responsible for Migos’ “T-Shirt” video and it features popular American video models Chasity Simone and Bria Myles.

“Come Closer” initially leaked online January 14, 2017 and was erroneously referred to as “Hush Up the Silence”. Wizkid officially released the single on March 31, 2017 two months after the leak. The track is an upcoming single from Wizzy’s forthcoming major label debut Sounds From the Other Side.
