Even if many believe Ice Prince has melted, the former Chocolate City stalwart is try hard to prove the Ice is still there, solid. If data were anything to go by, then the rapper might be on his way to an even stronger comeback.

Filterfree’s Chiagoziem Onyekwena found in a research that the rapper’s streaming numbers are spiking again. His work from last year, C.O.L.D EP was listed as one of the most streamed Nigerian EP out of 2018.

“C.O.L.D wasn’t in most conversations for best EP of 2018, but the fact that it was among the most streamed is an indication that Ice Prince is still potentially one hit song away from making a full comeback,” Chiagoziem wrote in his work for The Guardian.

Much of the conversation around Ice Prince is about “comeback”. Why, possibly because people genuinely want him back at the top, where he was before he fell off. And should he keep trying this way, he might make it.

His latest song, “Feel Good” with Falz and Phyno may well be that song. The catchy beat produced by Willis and the really catchy hook and strong verses by the guest artists render the song in a good light.

A video for this song is also available. The video is directed by the well-known Moe Musa.

One listen to “Feel Good” and you are hooked. Could this be the song that propels Ice Prince back to mainstream discussions?
