In case you need further persuasion on where to be this December, Lagos state will be shutting down the state with the biggest street carnival ever in the state’s history. The Lagos Street Party is a brain child of the state government in collaboration with White Star Entertainment.
The carnival will be holding this weekend on the 3rd and 4th of December. It will take place in Victoria Island and will cover streets like Ahmadu Bello Way as well as like Tiamiyu Savage, Akin Adesola and Bishop Oluwole.
Performing at the event are: Olamide, Phyno, MI, Kaffy, Ice Prince, Humblesmith, DJ Spinall, and DJ Lambo.
According to Lagos state Commissioner for Information and Strategy, Steve Ayorinde, half a million people are expected at the event daily from noon to midnight.
”The street party, which will witness local and foreign visitors, is not to kill other carnivals like the One Lagos Fiesta but it is to complement it. Immediately after the Lagos Street Party, we will come out with the plans for this year’s edition of the One Lagos Fiesta’
Other side attraction include dance classes with renowned dancer Kaffy, rock climbing, paint balling and fun slides for the kids.
