Chinko Ekun had a phenomenal ending to last year. His song “Able God” with Zlatan dominated shows and event venues the entire time. That song put him in a good position to mount a worthy fight and gain his own audience share.

The battle is ongoing as he drops “Calling”, a new single featuring Mavin’s Johnny Drille.

On first look, the two names appear like the unusual pairing. But when you think of it again, there’s nothing strange about the collaboration.

Chinko Ekun delivers wordy verses while Johnny Drille locks on the chorus.

“Calling” is a love song to a non responsive love interest as Chinko tries to hit the right side of his love interest’s heart. By doing so, be leaves audience with some bars to mull over.

“My head dey turn but e never really scatter,

Dem don break my heart but e never really shatter

We from different worlds but it doesn’t really matters,

I go pump you with love and you’d be getting really fatter, fatter!” — Chinko raps on “Calling”

However, what  is quite worrying is Chinko asking his lover interest to check her “Dropbox” because “My message don come.” But who knows what he’s trying to do?
