The Martell Cypher released yesterday has got a lot of Nigerian hip-hop fans talking. Hip-hop artists too are reacting and Yung 6ix is the latest.

The rapper implied this morning in a Twitter post that the new cypher was unoriginal.

The Martell Cypher featured M.I Abaga, Blaqbonez, Loose Kaynon and A-Q.

6ix maintained that the cypher did not qualify as a true cypher since the rappers jacked his lines.

“So someone sent me a video of four rappers recycling my lines and then tagged that shit a cypher. You’ll jokers.”

While Yung 6ix did not mention names, it is quite easy to see where his fingers are directed.

“Apparently everyone did, these kids are jokers bruh, It would have been an honorable moment for me if they gave credits. You don’t need to steal my shit to get my audience when you can acknowledge it and get ur verse endorsed by the owner of the lines.”

Meanwhile, the rapper has said he did not intend to stir up dust by calling out the LAMB collectives.

“Kings only fight kingdoms,” 6ix wrote after a fan declared the fight has begun.
