The full list of nominees for the 2017 edition of the All Africa Music Awards (AFRIMA) have been released.
Wizkid and Davido are leading the nominations as expected. The two Naija stars undoubtedly had the biggest year of their careers between 2016 and 2017.
Both were nominated for Artist Of The Year alongside Seyi Shay, Fally Ipupa, French Montana, Oumo Sangare and others. Their songs ”If” and ”Come Closer” were also nominated alongside Runtown‘s ”Mad Over You” for Song Of The Year category.
Nigerian artists as usual dominate the nominees list with newbies like Nonso Amadi, Aramide and Adekunle Gold scoring nominations as well.
