Kenyan singer, Victoria Kimani has made known her intention to quit her record label, Chocolate City.
The singer took to Instagram to express her disappointment with the label whom she claimed wasn’t doing enough to promote her as an artist.
She posted on Instagram:
Mann “these labels got me feelin independent!!!! ” ????But still I keep pushing cuz greater is HE that is in me than he that is in the world.
SAFARI is my last project with @choccitymusic …. Excited about what’s NEXT! ?
The singer joined in 2012 and ”Safari” has been her biggest work with the record label. There may be some truth to her claims as other artistes like Koker who joined way after she did seem to be doing better recognition wise.
