Tiwa Savage may start to write songs for other artists again, but this may not be anytime soon as the singer has too many engagements on her plate.
The superstar singer has written and co-written songs for notable American artists such as Mary J. Blige, Fantasia, Chaka Khan, Kelly Clarkson, George Michael, Monica among others during the early stages of her career.
Tiwa Savage told Guardian Life that while she still writes most of her own songs by herself, she had stopped writing for other artists for some time now.
The singer revealed that she had begun to focus more on writing her own songs rather than writing for other artists because she did not have as much time as she used to.
Although, she may not be writing songs for other artists but she and her labelmates have written and co-written songs for each other.
“But I still co-write especially for my fellow label mates and vice versa.”
Tiwa Savage hinted that she may return to writing songs for other artists, but not until she started to have more time at her disposal.
“It’s definitely something that I will like to return to when I have more available time in my schedule.”
