Singer, Adekunle Gold has released the tracklist of his upcoming album, About 30. Gold announced the tracklist late yesterday on his social media accounts.
Although, the announcements did not include the cover art and the release date, observers are optimistic that the album will surface before the end of May.
Awaited since the end of 2017, About 30 is Adekunle Gold’s effort to document personal issues ranging mostly from his romantic relationships to finance and other personal stories.
About 30 is sequel to Adekunle Gold’s debut album, Gold which was released under the aegis of YBNL. Like Gold, About 30 has sixteen songs which is an effort to continue from where his last album, Gold stopped.
“The story continues…” Adekunle Gold wrote in his tracklist unveiling post on Instagram.
True to his word, About 30 tracklist hints at a continuation from where Gold stopped as the album numbering started from number 17.
The tracks that made it to About 30, barring any unforeseen change, include: “Ire”; “Down With You”; “Mr Foolish”; “Surrenda”; “Damn Delilah”; “Yoyo”; “Money”; “Pablo Alakori”; “Remember”; “Fame”; “Somebody”; “Mama”; “There Is God”; “Back To Start”; “Ire (remix)”; and “Call On Me”.
What makes About 30 different from Gold is the presence of more guest artists. The album has the likes of Seun Kuti, Flavour, Oyo, LCGC and Jacob Banks on its roster.
