Vetersan singer Sound Sultan has called for the creation of children-friendly content in music and other related fields.
He told HIPTV in a short interview recently that children were getting robbed of their childhood by their direct exposure to adult content in music.
Sound Sultan said the dearth of content made specifically for children had hampered their development.
He added that most contents were not made to be consumed by children at all.
“The kids have been suffering but they don’t know. Contents have not been geared towards the kids. Kids take some content from adult content and use.”
The singer admonished the artists and other creators including the government to always put children in consideration whenever they were creating content.
“We should always put them in consideration. Have it in mind that kids will always be kids.”
He said that it was bad for children to experience adulthood without having completed their growth as children first.
