Sony Music Entertainment Africa in it’s bid to spread it’s tentacles in this continent has inked a deal with Tinny Entertainment Act, Ycee.
Papers were signed today in South Africa where the artiste will be performing tomorrow at the MTV MAMA ceremony in Johannesburg. Ycee is the latest artiste to be signed under the label.
Ycee posted via Instagram:
“Great things happening, alongside Tinny Entertainment, I’m so proud to become part of the Sony Music family!”
This is undeniably a big feat for Ycee who is still considered a newcomer of sorts in the industry.
Sony Music West Africa’s General Manager, Micheal Ugwu had this to say:
“I’m extremely proud to welcome Tinny Entertainment and the amazing talent that is Ycee to the Sony Music Entertainment West Africa family. I’ve watched this team grow over the past few years and I am amazed at how they have navigated the industry to reach this stage. Ycee is the future of Hip Hop in Africa and will be front”
