Adekunle Temitope aka Small Doctor has been released from custody, reports say. The artist was arrested by police in Lagos yesterday.
The singer was released today following a highly publicised arrest on illegal possession of firearms.
He was also accused of threatening to shoot a traffic police officer.
Temitope wrote on his Instagram to confirm his release today.
“Believe in God, all power belongs to God,” he wrote.
The artist then went ahead to express gratitude to his fans, while also promoting his upcoming concert.
“Thank you all for the positive vibes. Omo Better doing great. Omo Better Concert this Sunday, 9th December, Agege Stadium, Iyanu Mashele.”
Small Doctor was arrested by the Lagos State police command alongside three others. Reports say they were his “gang members”.
The police are yet to release an official statement over the reported release.
