Simi’s album, Simisola is now the most streamed album on Boomplay music streaming service. Simisola first debuted on the platform about eleven months ago.
The album has seen several of its songs released again as individual singles with videos as accompaniments.
Since the beginning of 2018, Simi has released videos for: “One Kain”; “Complete Me”; and more recently “Gone For Good”.
Simi’s album, Simisola presently has been streamed 966k times on Boomplay, a few numbers shy of 1-million streams.
Simisola is toppling Flavour’s Ijele, which previously was the most streamed album on the Boomplay platform.
Ijele has 910k streams before it was leapfrogged by Simisola. The streaming statistics for the two projects presently stands at 926k for Ijele, while Simisola stands at 966k.
Both Simisola and IJele were first available on the platform less than 15 months ago.
The other projects on the highest stream albums list include: Tope Alabi’s Yes and Amen and Nathaniel Bassey’s This God Is Too Good which has 736k & 438k streams respectively.
Simi is presently signed to Steve Babaeko’s X3M Music and she released the Simisola under the same label.
Simisola is Simi’s third full-length project; preceding the album were: Ogaju; Restless EP & Chemistry (with Falz).
