Ric Hassani has expressed delight at the shift in audience preference towards the alternative genre.
The genre, which was previously uncharted territory for artists hoping for mainstream success, was now receiving attention.
Ric Hassani told HIPTV that the genre was now getting accepted by music audience in Nigeria.
He said he was happy that his own music too was getting accepted by the Nigerian audience.
“The alternative sound is being accepted very well now. People are begging for more and I’m happy to be giving them _that_ more.”
