Mavin Records singer, Reekado Banks, has been accused of allegedly breaching a contract said to be worth two million naira (#2,000,000).

According to an LIB report, the singer had been contacted by a Benin-based radio personality, Uwa Idahosa, to perform at a wedding.

The singer was said to have charged two million naira through his manager, Temi Solomon, before he could perform at the wedding.

However, the singer failed to show up at the event after allegedly receiving payment for his performance.

Idahosa and the couple who had paid for the performance demanded a refund after the breach.

Reekado Banks allegedly did not show any intention to refund the money, instead the singer’s manager said they could only afford eight hundred thousand naira (#800,000) due to logistic cost they incured.

This has caused the couple to involve men of the Nigerian police in the case.

The case was reportedly filed at the Ogba Police Area Command in Lagos State.
