Pepsi Nigeria has moved swiftly to deny reports that it has terminated the contract of one of its brand ambassadors – Tiwa Savage.
The Managing Director of Seven Up Bottling Co. Sunil Sawhney took to his Twitter account this evening to deny the reports.
Rumors began circulating earlier today that the company had terminated its contract with the singer after problems in her marriage made the rounds late last week. There are also reports that the singer’s estranged husband Tunji “Teebillz” Balogun was summoned by the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) to answer questions about his alleged cocaine use. Those reports remain speculations at best.
Tiwa extended her contract with Pepsi July, 2015 and has 14 months left on her current agreement.
