“This is how to take Africa to the world,” Patoranking wrote in a post after performing at Lauryn Hill’s 20th anniversary concert, Miseducation of Lauryn Hill Tour in Dallas, United States.
The Nigerian artist was first announced to be part of the acts that would open for Lauryn Hill in the concert in May.
“Thank you Dallas! Thank you Ms. Lauryn Hill!”
However, Lauryn Hill who is notorious for always cancelling tour dates announced a push back on the actual date of the tours.
Monday’s performance was Patoranking’s first since joining the tour towards the end of September.
The performance at Dallas saw Patoranking perform a couple of his songs, with “Heal D World” taking centre stage in his performance.
Since the release of “Heal D World” around the second half of August it has received joy from all over the world.
Patoranking performed songs from his discography alongside his live band who were dressed in printed fabrics.
The artist will also perform in the concert on Friday night, 5th of October at Saint Louis.
Concert goers now have to hope that Lauryn Hill does not cancel the Friday show due to some unexplainable reasons again.
