#TheVoiceNigeria which has been airing for the past couple of months came to an end yesterday night. The musical competition is aimed at showcasing the best of the best upcoming artistes in Nigeria as well as give them a solid foundation to launch their musical careers. The judges on the show were Waje, Tuface, Patoranking and Timi Dakolo.
Arese Emokpae a 28 year-old stage actress, who has been in various theatre acts and musicals emerged as the winner after competing against other contestants Chike, Brenda, Cornell, Patrick, Viveeyan, Nonso Bassey and Dewe.
She performed ‘Halleluyah’ by Jeff Buckly for her final performance. Arese is from a creative family and has been doing music performances at theaters since she graduated from Washington and Lee University in 2010. We can’t wait for her to start dropping hits after hits!
