The second edition of the Palmwine Festival was concluded 29th of December 2018. The show concluded in the early hours of today, 30th of December.
Palmwine Festival held at the Muri Okunola Park in Victoria Island, Lagos.
Damilola and Femi Aribisala hosted the show. Rising artist, Mo’believe opened the show with performances from his EP, Ariwo Eko.
Rapper, BarelyAnyHook would perform next after Mo’believe before DJ Yin played her disc jockey set.
DJ Yin’s set was extended. However, Osbeezy would perform after a short break in Yin’s set.
Meanwhile, there was a little delay before Funbi could perform. It took the singer three minutes to get on stage due to a glitch in band setup.
The singer would later thrill fans to music from his debut album, Serenade. He performed “Voodoo”, “Hallelujah”, “Serenade” and many others.
He would later invite Poe to perform “Adore Her”. Poe then took over to perform songs off his debut album, Talk About Poe.
Singing sensation, Temss will perform her new single, “Mr Rebel” after doing her duet with Poe.
Teni, DO, Lady Donli, Tomi Thomas and IKON would perform subsequently.
The conveners of the event, Show Dem Camp graced the stage after the series of performances. They opened their set with the second song off their Palmwine Music 2, “Legend”.
They also performed “Ragabomi”, “Tropicana”, “Malibu & Palmwine” “Up To You” and “Popping Again” from their Palmwine Music 1 project.
Some of the artists that joined during the show include: Worlasi, Odunsi, Tomi Thomas, Ajebutter22, BOJ and Lady Donli.
The event closed with the performance of “Feel Alright”, Show Dem Camp’s first song with the palmwine influence.
