Nigerians on Twitter are not taking things easy with Sean Tizzle after his tweet about the Benue flood yesterday.
Sean Tizzle was tweeting in the wake of the flood that had ravaged Makurdi, the Benue State capital and had displaced over ten thousand people.
With the current situation in Benue, I am pledging 10N for every RT this gets! Please forward this so we can help out those in need!

The singer had pledged to donate ₦10 to the victims of the flood for every retweet his post gets.
Donating based on retweet count has been a popular trend used by public figures and organisations in the past year to raise awareness for various incidents.
However, Nigerians did not find it funny at all when Sean Tizzle tweeted this.
Most of them believed that the #10 was too small as it would take around 20k retweets to get #200, 000.
This user queried the moral position of Sean Tizzle for requesting retweets before donating to the victims of the flood.
if you want to help, please go right ahead and do so. Which one is N10 for every rt?

Another user tweeted:
@TrendsOfNigeria maybe you haven't done the maths to know that you'll need 20k RTS to give 200k. My brother, keep your money.

This user also thinks Sean Tizzle has committed a PR blunder with his tweet.
10naira for every RT? good to ve thought to help but this is a PR failure considering u don't ve to make noise if u wanna help anyone

More and more Nigerians are joining the train and so the dragging continues.
