The 5ive Music Group made its debut on Sunday at the upscale ‘The Bridge’ located in Lekki, Lagos. The exclusive event was tagged “5ive Live Sessions”.
The event had in attendance, the movers and shakers of the music, media and marketing industries. The General Manager, Aibee Abidoye shared the purpose of the company with guests in attendance. The 5ive Music Group is the first of it’s kind and it is a music publishing company established by partners including Now Muzik, Cabal/Storm 360 and Choc City Music to license and distribute artiste content within and outside Africa.
The purpose is to create sustainable income for musicians and content owners and to develop the music industry.
There were performances by Paul Okeugo along with Obi Asika, Efe Omorogbe, Tola Odunsi and D’Banj .The premiere 5ive Live Sessions featured wonderful performances by Adekunle Gold, Niniola, Kelly Hansome, Koker, Dice Ailes, Acetune, Johnny Drille, Terry Apala, IBK, Sojay and more.
Some of the popular names in the industry who were also present include: Noble Igwe, Audu Maikori, DJ Lambo, Dj Spinall, Ill Bliss, D’Banj, DJ Zeez, Skuki, Lynxx, Dr Frabs, Solabomi Okonkwo, Mark Redguard, Osagie Alonge among others.
