Fast-rising street hop singer, Mr Real, has clarified the nature of his relationship with superstar artiste, D’Banj.

The “Legbegbe” star told GoldmyneTV recently that he did not sign any record deal with D’Banj’s label.

He said the deal he had with the Koko Master’s platform, CREAM, was often a subject of misinterpretation.

“People kind of mistake the whole thing that I am signed to CREAM or that I’m signed to D’Banj: No, I’m not signed to any of these.”

Mr Real explained that he had won in one of the CREAM competitions which earned him a video shoot.

“There’s this platform—CREAM—I won in their platform; this merit I won, so they shot ‘Legbegbe’ for me.”

CREAM is a platform that offers grants for creative individuals who have applied to the platform. Artistes who win the grant gets variety of mouthwatering deals courtesy of the platform.
