Several Nigerian artists have reacted to M.I.’s epic interview on the Loose Talk podcast.
In what could become the most controversial and most listened-to Loose Talk episode, M.I. was taken to task on his career direction and the performance of his last studio album, The Chairman.
In making his point, Osagie Alonge used some colorful language and this did not go down well with many of MI’s colleagues; they have thrown their weight behind the MC.
Skales admonished journalists to be professional in their approach to their job. He also warned critics and journalists against disrespecting M.I.

Also, Ajebutter22 praised M.I. for his calmness during the podcast and said that his album, The Chairman, was one the rap albums he had listened to the most since it was released.

Singer, Ric Hassani, who recently released his debut album African Gentleman cautioned against disrespecting those who have contributed so much to the growth of the music industry.
No one should disrespect MI on any level. You can dislike him, critize him, dislike his lyrics, but you will not disrespect that Man.
— Ric Hassani (@RicHassani) September 6, 2017
He has contributed so much to our growth as an industry, so much. It is for his work that alot of us are here. Respect those who paved way.
