Mayorkun has described Davido’s impact on his career as “instrumental”.
The Mayor of Lagos said this during an interview with Punch’s Scoop on Sunday.
Mayorkun explained that he not known Davido from anywhere before the singer offered him a record deal.
“He has really been a blessing to me and I will always appreciate him,” He said.
“He is a very good person because he didn’t know me from Adam before offering me a deal with his label.”
Mayorkun said most people were often in doubts of the kind of relationship he and Davido have due to their closeness.
“Even when I tell people how our paths crossed, they don’t believe. He took me as a brother from day one and has been very instrumental to the growth of my career.”
