Former Starboy Records signee, LAX, has said that he did not regret leaving the record label.

Reports from several quarters had suggested that the artist’s career had taken a lot of step back following his departure from the label.

However, the singer told Sunday Scoop yesterday that contrary to the claims making round, his career has progressed since he left the label instead.

LAX who enjoyed apt airplay for his single “Runaway” last year cited his busy 2017 as reference to the advancement he has made in his career.

He said anyone who felt his career had retrogressed should go back and check the record books to know how wrong their claims were.

“People who are saying that need to go and check the records. I had three big songs that had a lot of views online last year.”

“I travelled to a lot of countries and I enjoyed massive love everywhere that I performed.”

Meanwhile, LAX said his debut album, “Rasaki”, will be released before the end of this year.

“I will be releasing my debut album this year and I want my fans to watch out for it. People should listen to good music, not thrash.”
