American rapper and talking head on the “Everyday Struggle” show, Joe Budden, has spoken out against the poor reception of Wizkid’s major label debut Sounds From The Other Side in the US.
Rallying for Wizkid, Joe opining that it was unfair for Americans to adopt the singer’s style and cannibalize his music without actually buying and promoting his album.
Although he erroneously referred to the Nigerian pop star as a Caribbean artist, he said:
“Wizkid’s album came out, we never talked about it. It’s amazing and I think that’s really unfair for all you niggas to steal Wizkid’s Caribbean style without buying the album.”
