Drake has cited Tekno’s song, “Jogodo” and Starboy’s “Soco” as some of the songs which inspired him during the recording of his new album, Scorpion.
The Canadian rapper made the revelation in his Instastory which also included a host of several artists today.
Drake acknowledged the musicians who he said supported his “studio drive.”
“Thank you to all the artists that inspired me on the studio drives.” Drake wrote in one of the posts before going ahead to list the artists.
Among the other artists listed by Drake include: 2Pac, Boogz, Loski, Greedo and a few others.
Wizkid has a history of collaboration with Drake in the past, and Tekno has also been endorsed repeatedly by Drake.
