D’Banj has lost his one year old son, Daniel Oyebanjo II in an unfortunate pool accident yesterday.
According to several reports, Oyebanjo II died following a pool accident at D’Banj’s home in Ikoyi, Lagos.
Daniel Oyebanjo II was just 13-month old at the time of his death.
D’Banj confirmed the incident in an Instagram post shortly after the news broke.
“Trying times, but my God always and forever faithful.” D’Banj wrote in the post.

Colleagues of the singer have started sending in their condolences over the unfortunate incident, among them is Davido who took advantage of the BET 2018 platform to send his condolences to D’Banj who only became a father in 2017.
“Before I go on, I want to send condolences to my big brother, D’Banj the artists who paved the way for us to be on this stage.”
