It’s certainly not been a friendly week for journalists and artists.
Journalist and entertainment writer Osagie Alonge is the latest on the receiving end of backlash and this time around it’s coming from OBO himself, Davido.
On his weekly show “Facts Only”, the respected writer shared his thoughts on Davido Music Worldwide (DMW) singer Mayorkun and the recent success of he single Eleko. He opined that Davido’s team bought YouTube likes for the song thereby placing the newly signed artiste under undue pressure. He also took a dig at Davido’s managerial skills.
Davido didn’t take this lightly, the singer responded –
Make a video talkin about niggas half your age!! Who u epp?? Better take time before dem match u! Keep my name out ur mouth PUNK!!
Davido has never been known to back down from a verbal war and as if to disprove Osagie’s comments about Mayorkun being under pressure, the pop star dropped another post soon after.
He tweeted about Mayorkun working with Dremo on a song to be released soon.
