CDQ has announced a new album, Ibile Mugabe (the Voice). Ibile Mugabe will be the artist’s second album ever.
His first album, Quality did not reach the acclaim expected of it, despite featuring some of the biggest names in the music industry.
However, CDQ continued to be a present figure in the Nigerian music industry since 2015.
In 2018 alone, the artist earned nomination for the street music category in the 2018 Headies. He also won at the Ghana-Naija showbiz award held recently.
The rapper began the rollout for the project in October. Now, Ibile Mugabe even has an expected date of release.
Baring any change, the project will be available on the 16th of November.
Ibile Mugabe already has a cover art and tracklist. The artist teamed up with big names like Tiwa Savage, Kizz Daniel, Davido, Mr Eazi, Reminisce, Phyno and others.
This sophomore project is as robust in size as his debut project, Quality. Ibile Mugabe also has 17-track with near matching guest appearances.
“Soft”, “Entertainer”, “Gbayi”, “Information”, “Bang Bang” are some of the first cuts off the album.
Others in the project include earlier released “Weyrey Yo” and the remix of “Say Baba”, which features DJ Maphorisa.
