Black Coffee the South African multi-award winning record producer and DJ on Saturday took home the Best International Act- Africa award for the 2016 BET Awards.
It was a tight win as he was nominated alongside some of the best acts in Africa including our own Wizkid and Yemi Alade. Black Coffee took to twitter to show appreciation for his win after receiving his award.
Others nominated in the category are: AKA, Cassper Nyovest, Diamond Platnumz,MzVee, Serge Beynaud, Wizkid and Yemi Alade.
The event took place at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles and was hosted by Anthony Anderson and Tracee Ellis Ross.
