Only fewer performances by Nigerian artists would delight you as much as the performance of Wonder Woman, Omawumi, at the 2017 World Food Prize.
The songstress performed in front of notable dignitaries from Africa and the West. Among her audience include include: Chief Olusegun Obasanjo, Ghana’s former president, John Mahama, and prize winner, Akinwunmi Adesina.
Omawumi did a rendition of one of the songs off her Lasso of Truth album, The African Way which featured Don Jazzy. Then she deftly transitioned to Timeless, her latest album by performing “Africa” which featured Malian legend, Salif Keita.
Salif Keita appeared on Omawumi’s Timeless alongside Uhuru to do a new version of his classic song, Africa.
