It’s been 3 years since Sarz and his muse Niniola lit up dance floors around the country with the release of “Ibadi”. The sound was refreshing, Nini’s charm was subtle and her energy was infectious. Since then, the 2 have released a number of moderately-successful singles and carved a unique lane for the singer in the Afro-house/dance category.

But for some reason, Niniola has been hesitant to put out a full body of work. The singer first had her chance in the spotlight in 2013 when she took part in the MTN Project Fame music reality show Season 6, where she emerged as the 3rd runner-up. However, her failure to get the ultimate prize didn’t deter her, as she saw the platform her weekly performances had earned her and began to work towards making it another way.

The singer has been keeping fans of her voice and personality waiting for an album since then but having recently signed a new record deal, the singer promises that all that will change this year:

In order to build anticipation for the yet-to-be-titled album, Niniola has released a new single “Sicker”, watch the video below:

And even other girls they tell me I’m sicker

And I don’t need no liquor

I’ve got the energy to light up the world

Ma lo fa ra we mi o (Don’t copy me)…
