Romeo and Juliet is a tale of two young lovers whose deaths ultimately reconciled two families that were feuding. It was one of William Shakespeare’s earliest plays. Along with Hamlet, it was among the English poet’s most popular works during his lifetime, it has become one of his most frequently performed in his death.
These days, the title characters are regarded as archetypal young lovers. Nigerian singer Johnny Drille, who is signed to the Don Jazzy-owned Mavin Records, has released the visuals for his own recreation of the ”Romeo & Juliet” love story. The video for Johnny’s moving ballad was shot by Mex Films.
Would you be my Juliet
And I’d be your Romeo
My love…
The topnotch video tells a tale of pure love but luckily it didn’t have the same sad ending as the original Romeo and Juliet.
