Upcoming singer and songwriter, Cyprian Alakija has released a new EP titled Love, Perfection & Heartbreak (LPH).
His goal is to make music with good lyrical content that is accessible to everyone. The effort feels like it’s heavily influenced by Fireboy DML’s work, Laughter, Tears & Goosebumps.
The new EP is a follow up to his recently released record “Isabella”, which was an underground favorite.
“Love, Perfection & Heartbreak” (LPH) is composed of 6 songs with diverse genres and vibes;
“Love Talk”, “Perfect”, “Alright”, “Baby Mi”, “Gbe” and “Nkechi” all make up the tracklist of the EP.
From the beginning to the end of the EP, the story transcends from love, perfection to heartache. The songs were inspired by some great life-changing experiences from individuals. And while each song varies in tone, they are generally originals and they circle back to the theme of the EP.
In summary, LPH talks about undying love & affection that ended in heartbreak.
