Tekno Uptempo: About two weeks ago, Tekno was in the news. He was so not by his doing, but by a composite story which unavoidably involved him. Iyanya, his former label mate and somehow investor, had visited media houses in Lagos where he made scathing remarks about the workings of Made Men Music Group — a label Tekno was signed to until a few months ago. Tekno has yet to make any comment on that incident. Frankly, it is not his business to respond.
Slim Daddy continues to live his life as if nothing has happened. As if his name was not dragged into a conversation he would rather not be a part of only two weeks ago. The singer releases his new song, “Uptempo” this week and he does so when the dust has completely settled.
“Uptempo” sees Tekno riding his own wave with a potential hit.
