Mm. MI Abaga has finally responded to Vector the Viper. The opening line to this paragraph is too tepid and not representative of the kind of reaction the response is worth. MI calls the track “The Viper” and he casually called it not a diss song.

“The Viper” is the long-awaited response to Vector’s last two diss songs “The Purge” which features Vader the Wildcard and Payper Corleone and “Tetracyling”.

So, maybe it’s not the kind of response you expected. But “The Viper” immediately cancelled out all the previous diss tracks Vector released. Mr Incredible did it in 5 minutes.

People are saying there’s no comeback for Vector from this. MI Abaga already added an extra lock just in case Vector is thinking of a comeback. Jude asks him to ponder, these fans that are urging you to come at me, will they pay your rent?

Chai.

MI decided it’s better to address Vector by his first name, Lanre. And the J-Town man used that a lot in a way that suggests he was ordering Lanre about. He seemed to use the name that way because he wanted his lines to sink in — into Vector’s mind.

I swear by my name coz there’s no higher authority. I will not destroy you, instead I’’ll give you maturity. I’m trying to save your life, Lanre. That’s my priority. You let jealousy f*** your legacy up

M. looked at Vector, after possibly going through several court documents and other dirty his foot soldiers unearthed for him. Because Vector is so tall like that, lady’s man o, MI called him a snake.

You choosing denial, blaming everyone but yourself. Already fake when no one knew you and fame didn’t help. Look how you treated YSG when dem n***s really believed in you. F***king snake always biting the hand of people feeding you

Jude “MI” Abaga on “The Purge” (2019)

Africa Rapper Number 1 didn’t just call him a snake. He showed receipts, just in case someone is somewhere planning to dismiss Vector’s reptilian core.

He didn’t have to look too far for the receipts; they are accessible to him on the web and on 100 Crowns and even on Chocolate City.

After Jude Abaga released “The Viper”, he went to Twitter to drop open letter to VEC. This is extra, but it seemed to send people crazy again. This MI good o.

“You’re the only rapper who’s done nothing to bring anyone else up,” MI Abaga said in the letter. Basically, the English version of “who you epp?”

He produced this diss track by himself. The only thing he didn’t do by himself is the mixing and mastering, which Alpha Ojini — who’s also a kickass rapper — did for him. It’s possible M. didn’t dig out the court documents himself, because how can a chairman do that kind of thing?

It appears M. doesn’t want to drag this further beyond “The Viper”. He warns VEC not to reply, he even tried to shut the opening, you know, maybe shame can catch the Son of Lafiaji and he’d give up.

But as it is, Vector look set to reply to this. He is presently crowd-sourcing beat on Twitter. But maybe it’s just demo. He probably won’t reply.

Rap heads are saying there’s enough dirt on MI Abaga that Vector can use to come back. Will he find that dirt? Will he use the dirt in a compelling way to deal with MI?
