Former Chocolate City signee, Koker is finally ready to push without label back up. The singer part ways with Chocolate City last year and since then, word is that he would release an EP.

That EP is now here and he calls it La Vida Koker. La Vida Koker is released under the umbrella of Koker’s Koke Boy imprint.

He seems to know how to use his experiences well. The proof of this is all over the EP.

He enlists producers like Studio Magic, Reinhard Tega, Rhyme Bamz, Micon and Runtinz on the project. The producers’ expertises already make La Vida Koker look promising on paper.

But will it deliver on this promise?

Yes or no, you can’t say for sure until you stream the EP and start forming opinions. But it does look good on paper.

The artist doesn’t try to exceed the 7-song mark on La Vida Koker. On those songs, he keeps the guest appearances tame.

Only Kenyan stars, Vanessa Mdee and Khaligraph Jones appear on the EP as guest cuts. Word is that Chocolate City boss, MI Abaga is in there somewhere.

What this appearance does is to solidify MI Ababa and Koker’s 2018 claim that he and Chocolate City parted ways amicably.

Meanwhile, some of the songs on La Vida Koker include “Kosi Pressure”, “Too Late”, and “Baba Spender”.

The others are “For Real”, “No Lounging”, “Amen” and the eponymously named “La Vida Koker”.

The direction of the tape is yet to be established. But from the tracklist, it is easy to conclude that this EP will be more of gbedu than anything else.
