Ice Prince “Hello Esther” is the singer’s second single of 2019.
Ice Prince will make a major comeback into the mainstream again and it won’t be long before that happens. The former Chocolate City stalwart has been making the attempts since late 2017 with faint signs of success. He is doing so by putting out good song upon good songs.
In March, he released the really nice “Feel Good”. His latest effort is “Hello Esther” which is equally nice. The song features DJ Tunez, who is affiliated with Wizkid’s Starboy Entertainment.
“Hello Esther” is a short note to the artist’s ex who left him after he thought things were good. Ice Prince recalls when the going was good between he and Esther.
Despite Ice Prince’s ex having moved on, the artist is still holding on to the memories they had together. He expresses his willingness to try the relationship again under the cover of wit.
The artist probably has good competitive advantage as he raps “You know I never hit you up like it’s wrestling”. On the other hand, it feels like a bare minimum thing — which Esther didn’t fancy.
Ice Prince both did the hook of this song and rapped the verses. Every time, the artist keeps showing glimpses of why he was at the top at some point. And more importantly, why he would return to the top again.
