This something is often an album release.
This isn’t far-fetched because Adekunle Gold and Simi have already hinted at a possible collaborative project. While music fans await the project to come to life, “Before you wake up” is to put them in the mood for a full-length project.
Adekunle Gold’s marriage with Simi could mean more love songs, ones that’d be truly mushy. “Before you wake up” is proof the singer’s love element is on full-throttle. At a time when people are quick to break up, Adekunle will love his love interest nonstop.
He wants to show this by taking 6-month breaks, twice a year. “Before you wake up” is an uptempo love tune which came a little bit late, but every day is love day for a true lover boy — which Adekunle Gold is now.
