For a long time in the late 80’s and early 90’s Bianca Odumegwu-Ojukwu was considered the paragon of Nigerian beauty and her husband the late Odumegwu Ojukwu seen as something between the world’s luckiest man and a sugar daddy with too much time on his ageing hands.

In her younger years, Bianca was a serial beauty pageant winner. She won Miss Martini (1988), was crowned Most Beautiful Girl in Nigeria the same year but reigned for most of 1989, she also won Miss Africa in that same year and was named Miss Congeniality at the now defunct Miss Charm International in Russia.

In recent times, Bianca has become something of a diplomat but the dynamic between her and her late husband, who was 30 years her senior, continues to fascinate many. Eastern rapper Zoro explores that fascination on his new record “Bianca”, take a listen.

Asa’m dika Bianca (My girl is like Bianca)

And I’m all about the money ka am’a bu banker (And I’m about my money like a banker)

Over a thumping trap beat supplied by Camo Blaizz, Zoro draws parallels between Bianca’s famous beauty and that of his girl. He also talks about how other women now love him like Bianca did Ojukwu.

But let’s get things clear, Zoro doesn’t play with two things – his girl and his money. One takes care of the other, so there’s no problem she has that he won’t go out of his way and out of his pocket to solve. After the warm reception of “Ogene”, “Achikolo” and “Mabuza”, this song has serious potential.
