Yaw has an axe to grind with Runtown. But in actuality, Runtown seems to have plenty axes to grind with many people.
Only a few days ago, the singer launched his own record label, Soundgod Music Group. The launch came in spite of his legal battle with his ex label, Ericmany.
A video posted by Wazobia FM OAP, Yaw opened yet another floodgate of issues to tackle for the embattled Runtown.
Now, the singer not only need to battle his estranged label, Ericmany in court, he also needs to polish his perception in the eye of the public.
Yaw described Runtown as being snobbish in a video that has been seen by many of Yaw’s followers on his Instastory.
“He became too big now,” Yaw replied a voice who asked (in the video) why Runtown was not showing up at their FM any longer.
Apparently, Yaw’s issue with Runtown was more personal than anything else.
The OAP told a story of how he had invited Runtown to perform at his show recently. But the singer turned him down in a sly way.
“Runtown was at Eko Hotel: He lodged at Eko Hotel during my show day. I called him for my show and he said he won’t be in the country. But he was at Eko Hotel during my show.”
Yaw further added: “Meanwhile, it was J Martins that brought him to me: that I should please help him.”
The OAP’s disappointment was visible in the video as he talked about the singer. As it is now, Runtown is cancelled in the eyes of Yaw and maybe some of his fans.
Since the emergence of the video, Runtown, who is known to always have brash responses, is yet to respond to Yaw’s rants.
