Spellz: Wizkid Was The First To Lay His Vocals On “Ma Lo”

Hit producer, Spellz, has revealed that Wizkid was the first person to put his vocal on the “Ma Lo” beat before Tiwa Savage did her own take.

The producer explained to HIPTV in an interview recently that he had played close to twenty (20) instrumentals before Wizkid and Tiwa Savage decided to perform on the one that became “Ma Lo”.

He said when the artistes met to perform the song there had been no inspiration to do anything on the day.

“When Ma Lo came up Wiz just stood up and walked to the mic straight.”

Spellz revealed that it was after Wizkid’s take that Tiwa Savage got herself together and recorded her own verse.
