Did Sony Music Really Try To Change Davido’s Sound?

It appears Sony Music after signing Davido tried to change his ‘sound’. In a post on Instagram, the singer excitedly referred to O’marion jammimg his latest song ”IF” and implied that some forces tried to change his sound claiming it won’t earn him international recognition.

This might explain a lot of things like how his collaboration with Tinashe was met with lukewarm reactions. On the other hand, this might be another exaggeration on the part of Davido as he is known for those.
