Police Reportedly Invite Davido For Questioning Over The Death Of His Friend

The Lagos State Police command has reportedly invited singer, Davido, in for questioning following the death of his friend, Tagbo Umeike.

According to an LIB report, the Lagos State Police Commissioner, Edgar Imohimi, had a closed-door meeting today with Davido and Caroline Danjuma, who had accused accused the singer of complicity in the death of his friend.

Umeike was alleged to have died inside Davido’s car on Tuesday night while the singer was accused of dumping his corpse at the General Hospital, Lagos.

Several reports claimed that the deceased died after a drinking competition which Davido reportedly sponsored. 

Davido had denied earlier claims that the deceased had died in his car, adding that it was an attempt to sully his good name.

He was reported to have provided CCTV footage to back up his claim that he left the club (Shisha Lounge) before the late Umeike did.
