Patoranking On “Gqom Sound”: I’m Happy It’s Being Accepted

Patoranking has claimed that 2018 is the year that South African style of music “Gqom” will become well-known in the Nigeria.

If indeed the sound became well-known in the country, Pato would have been the pioneer of another disruption of industry trend in 2018.

Patoranking told HIPTV in an interview recently that the sound was already being adopted by different artistes in the country.

“It’s already huge in South Africa. [I] Patoranking mean something different. I just decided to do something. I’m happy it’s being accepted.”
His latest single, “Available”, was heavily influenced by the South African styled “Gqom” sound, he said he was glad that music audience in Nigeria were already accepting the sound.
